Only Three More Days Until We Can Stop Pretending To Care About The Phillies I kid, I kid... we love the Phillies here at Fortress of Pillows, but I'd be a lying sack of crap if I said that Eagles training camp beginning Friday didn't have me positively moist with excitement (burn that image in your mind, suckers). Query your processes under X with Qps

When it comes to managing processes, many people use old reliable commands such as ps, top, kill, and nice. These commands are handy, useful, and found in every Linux distribution. However, sometimes a GUI process manager can be useful, especially when you're trying to teach new Linux system administrators who aren't used to shell interfaces. Qps Visual Process Manager is a GUI ps substitute that lets you sort, manipulate, and manage processes.

Wanetlight controlled by Wiimote

Wanetlight controlled by Wiimote

The Wiimote is certainly more useful than just controlling Mario's kart - it can even be hacked to control the Wanetlight - a luminous suspension composed of 25 blown glass candles which ultimately form a 3D matrix of light. It comprises of 5 x 5 x 5 LEDs clustered across all three axes in order to form a luminous 3D screen cage. All the LEDs can be individually pilored, alloing users to configure a light composition of their choice in space. Well, I suppose this would be a much better use for the Wiimote compared to pole dancing...

How To Get The Most Out of Shoemoney Tools Beta

About a year and a half ago I went to Jeremy Schoemaker's house for a few days (aka Shoemoney, aka Shoe) because I heard rumors that the Shoemoney team was making tons of money from the affiliate marketing/arbitrage space. I wanted to learn first hand on how I could do the same. (Read on Source)

GM Offers One-Year, 12,000-Mile Warranty on All CPO Vehicles

Gmlogo

If you can swing it in this tough economic climate, it sure isn't a bad time to buy a car. On top of GM's employee pricing deal for new cars, the automaker is also offering a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty on all of its certified pre-owned vehicles.

Bumper-to-bumper and fully transferable, the warranty can be tacked on to GM's typical five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

GM has also extended its standards for CPO vehicles to include models as old as six years or with as many as 75,000 miles on the odometer. The deal only applies to the Buick, Chevy, GMC, Pontiac and Saturn brands. Left out are Cadillac, Hummer and Saab (although, thanks to gas prices, there's never been a cheaper time to buy a new Hummer).

GM expects to sell its 3 millionth vehicle through its certified pre-owned program this September, which would make it the first certified used-vehicle program to reach that mark.

Think Like a Fraudster to Protect Your Customers

The holiday season has come to signify not only a time of celebration among family and friends -- it's also usually a period of joy for retailers. This year, however, the lagging economy threatens to dampen everyone's holiday spirit, and retailers who depend on a large holiday season sales boost should prepare for a much smaller increase.
