MacBook Pro heading to Apple
Well, it happened again. I noticed the hard drive starting to click about 2 weeks ago on my MacBook Pro. I also could not boot into it. I called Apple and we we got it running by reinsalling the os. I was still nervous about the clicking, so we made a case out of it. A couple days ago, it started clicking once again. I backed it up immediately. It ran for another day or so and then nothing.

SAN DIEGO - The bankruptcy judge overseeing the Metabolife International Inc. settlement on Dec. 12 denied a motion to stay liquidation pending appeal brought by a former putative class action representative whose claims were denied in two courts, stating that he has not shown a likelihood that he will succeed on his appeal or the likelihood that he will suffer injury if a stay is not granted (In re: MII Liquidation, Inc., et al., No. 05-06040-H11, S.D. Judge Drastically Cuts Expert Testimony in Body-Parts Suit
A federal judge in New Jersey dealt a setback to the plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation over human tissue stolen from corpses for use in transplants. The judge on Wednesday granted a defense motion under to exclude expert testimony on whether the tissue could have transmitted HIV, syphilis, cancer and other diseases. The judge also granted summary judgment for the defense on some causation issues, but held off on ruling on the plaintiffs' challenge of some defense experts.
